You know those dark brown little chips in Gardettos? They're just little spiced pieces of dried rye bread. We made a couple tweaks like using Gardetto's toast pieces in the recipe instead of toasting our own bread.

While Gardetto's snacks are low in fat and sugar, they do contain higher levels of sodium, so it's important to enjoy them in moderation, especially if you're watching your sodium intake.

In early 2013, General Mills removed the sesame seed breadstick from the Gardetto's original recipe and replaced it with a different breadstick found in other popular snack mixes put out by General Mills.

The scent and taste are described as rich, peppery, earthy, and slightly floral.

The crunch of the all-carb bag is mighty. The seasoning is addictive, a powerful explosion of salt, salt, garlic, and salt -- and apparently dried Worcestershire sauce, onion, baking soda, caraway, and a million chemical-sounding ingredients.

For some reason my middle school girlfriend called them "poop browns" and so I will forever call them "poop browns." Don't get mad at me Gardetto's.
