We work daily to ensure that our horses receive the best possible care in order to ensure optimal soundness, health and trainability. All of our horses receive the following care:

*Foals are handled daily, learning to lead properly and are exposed to external stimuli (cars, tractors, other animals, etc.). They are also shown from a young age at Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Shows and Haflinger Breed Shows, so they are used to being bathed, clipped and trailered short and long distances.
*All of our horses are trimmed and wormed on a regular basis, and are up-to-date on vaccinations.
Clients who purchase horses from us receive a file complete with veterinary, trimming, and worming history, show record information, and photos.
*Horses under saddle are started and trained by a professional dressage trainer who recognizes that each horse learns at a different rate and in various ways

We believe in giving our young horses time to grow and mature--both physically and mentally--and so wait until they are three years old before beginning their under saddle training.

If you purchase a young horse from New Horizons and would like to have it shown but are unable to do so yourself, we offer reduced board for horses that are purchased from us, and will show weanlings for free throughout their weanling year (no board charges through 6 months of age), and will show older horses purchased from us for a reduced rate. We take foals purchased inutero to the Westfalen NA (RPSI) inspections as foals at no charge, and register the foals with their breed registry and through USEF (and USDF, when applicable). We can also provide references upon request, from past customers who have purchased horses from us and from clients who have had us show horses for them. Clients who purchase weanlings out of our stallion, Stellar TVR, are eligible for cash back money awards if they win their class at the National Show or National Futurity. We are proud to announce that in addition to being inspected and approved through AHR (77 pts), Stellar is the first Haflinger stallion in North America to be inspected and approved for breeding through the Weser-Ems (German Riding Pony) Sport Horse/Sport Pony Breeders' Society and by Westfalen NA (RPSI), a German Sport Horse Registry! As Stellar is also registered with AWSSR (American Warmblood Society Sporthorse Performance Registry), his foals are eligible for registration through AHR, AWSSR, and Weser-Ems.

In some cases monthly payments can be arranged, and mastercard and visa payments are accepted through Paypal. Please note that our horses are offered for sale, not for trade.
